VS 2005 Beta 2 Timebomb

A few more points re. VS 2005 beta 2 - it has a timebomb that expires May 1, 2006 - that's a pretty wide margin, and let's hope that we don't have to wait until then to get the RTM (we've waited long enough since VS 2003 was released).

You should also note that the version available on the MSDN site is the Standard (i.e. bottom of the scale) version - no sign yet of Pro, or the other uplevel versions; I guess this is because of the way the product has changed to offer Developer, Architect and Tester versions, all rigged up to Team System (& also the way that they are changing MSDN Universal to only allow access to one of these products per subscription). Personally, I'm going to hold off downloading beta2 until they post the other versions.
